Overview

ZenithCode Studio built the PDF Matrix app as a free application. This app is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This privacy policy explains our practices regarding data collection and use. The simple answer is: we don't collect any data.

Data Collection

We do NOT collect any data from you. Period.

Specifically, we do NOT collect:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
  • Device information
  • Usage statistics or analytics
  • Crash reports or error logs
  • Location data
  • Your PDF documents or files
  • Any other data of any kind

How PDF Matrix Works

PDF Matrix is a completely offline application. All PDF processing happens locally on your device:

  • All PDF editing, conversion, and manipulation happens on your device
  • Your documents never leave your device
  • No internet connection is required for any functionality
  • No data is sent to our servers (we don't even have servers)
  • No third-party analytics or tracking of any kind

Permissions Required

The app requires certain Android permissions to function. These permissions are used ONLY on your device and do NOT involve any data transmission:

  • Storage Permission (Read/Write External Storage):
    • Required to open PDF files from your device storage
    • Required to save processed PDF files to your device storage
    • Files are accessed and saved locally only
  • Camera Permission:
    • Required for the "Scan to PDF" feature
    • Images are processed locally on your device
    • No images are uploaded or transmitted anywhere

Third-Party Services

We do NOT use any third-party services that collect data, including:

  • No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
  • No crash reporting services
  • No advertising networks
  • No social media integrations
  • No cloud storage services

Data Storage

All data created or processed by PDF Matrix is stored locally on your device:

  • PDF files you create or edit are saved to your device's storage
  • Recent files list is stored locally on your device
  • App settings are stored locally on your device
  • Nothing is stored on external servers or cloud services

Data Sharing

We do NOT share any data with anyone because we don't collect any data in the first place.

When you use the "Share" feature in the app:

  • You are using Android's built-in sharing functionality
  • You choose which app to share your PDF with
  • We do not track or monitor what you share or with whom

Security

Since we don't collect or transmit any data, there is no data to secure on our end. Your documents remain on your device under your control.

We recommend:

  • Keep your device secure with a lock screen
  • Use the app's "Protect PDF" feature to password-protect sensitive documents
  • Regularly back up important files to your preferred backup solution

Children's Privacy

Since we don't collect any data from anyone, we don't collect data from children either. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data about you:

  • There is no data to request access to
  • There is no data to request deletion of
  • There is no data to request correction of
  • There is no data to request portability of

You have complete control over all files created or processed by the app, as they are stored on your device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

If we ever decide to collect data in the future (which we have no plans to do), we will:

  • Update this privacy policy clearly explaining what data we collect and why
  • Request your explicit consent before collecting any data

Google Play Services

PDF Matrix is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google Play Services may collect certain information for app distribution purposes (such as download counts). This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not ours, as we have no access to or control over this data.

Open Source Libraries

PDF Matrix uses various open-source libraries for PDF processing. These libraries run entirely on your device and do not collect or transmit any data.
